The Northern Lights

Hubby says we should go Switzerland or Finland or Norway next year Christmas period to try our luck to see Northern Lights..

I never knew this thing existed so I went to google it..

SO BEAUTIFUL! And so romantic also omg..

Don't know if we will have that chance to see it or even manage to go in the first place.. (planning and shit takes up a lot of time and have not see the cost and stuff so only until we did some research and have a more thorough view of everything then can confirm) but the thought of it makes me happy. :D

Happy Boxing Day! Hope all of you had a Merry Merry Christmas like I do.. :D

Open up all the pressies today and love all of them! Got colorful ones, useful ones, yummy ones, cute ones and xiang xiang ones.. 

Christmas was a simple simple one for us, because Hubby says he want to stay home for his birthday and spend quality time with me.

Then Christmas and Boxing Day most shops are close here..very quiet now in Cambridge (like our SG CNY) due to everyone back to celebrate Christmas and most students are having their Winter Break until 3rd Jan..

So we decided to stock up some foodie on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas and Boxing Day we will stay home watch movie marathon and cook together for our meals..

Must at least have a bit of 知名度 lol.

Tickets bought online~

3 of us watching Les Miserables in London Queens Theatre!

The Theatre interior are stunning! Lovely round stage that can turn!

So many props and lovely costumes, really very huge production!

Performance were breath taking with super good live band performance and live singings! (Cosette's super soft high pitch note took my breath away literally!)

All the cast were great it was as if played from the CD!

And I thought that Chicago were great, but this is so so so so so X1000 much time better!

After the play, Kim is a funny girl.. she keep telling us how "hot" the long hair guy were.. hahaha..

Me: Your Hubby also long hair mah lol..

Then we send her to Euston station..have BK dinner together and she catch her train..

We hug and said good bye..

Me & Hubby find a place to sit and finish our dinner while having our usual random chatting and gossip~

So nice to have a girlfriend in UK who can speak Singlish with me.. <3

2012 was great, 2013 will be even better!

2012 mark one of my Best year so far.. It have been a good year for me, accomplished so many things, travel quite a bit this year too. :) 

Good year doesn't mean no trouble, but it means that we have overcome all the obstacles and feel satisfied and happy of the choice we made that lead us to our happiness right now.. 

I'm happy almost everyday, stop listening to emo songs, stop watching sad korean dramas which I will camp whole night just to chiong finish the whole show lol. 

Didn't understand why I love emo songs and sad dramas so much in the past, now I will say "eh this song no nice leh sound so sad one.." or "this show very disturbing leh keep cry cry cry.." 

In the past I will listen and get my mood very low, watch the sad drama and cry cry cry myself.. lol.

I use to enjoy sad endings.. but now I try not to watch them if I know the ending are sad, or I watch it with lighter heart knowing it was a "fake" lol.

I still remember in the past after watching the whole sad drama (with sad endings of cos), a lot of time I couldn't get myself out of the show and remain at a very sad and low mood state for quite long, I realize I totally get myself into the situation in the drama.. which kinda =.=".  

Now I'm much positive and will enjoy positivism more than negativity. I like to keep my mood happy and high, so that me and Hubby can have great time together most of the time.. :)

Time flies! Last year during this period we are still enjoying our holiday in BKK then spend Christmas together in SG, plan and save up, looking forward to our Wedding in April.. and now, we're already married for 8 months, and it still feels like we just got married last week. :)

Looking at so many good things that happen in our 2012, I a bit 舍不得..

But I believe all the good/some bad things happen in 2012 is just a beginning, learning experience for us to carry on to be better. 2013 will be a good year for us too and many years down the road will only be better and better, if we stick together and don't give up on each other..

Even till now, the things we learnt in marriage course we attend before our Wedding still keep flashing in my mind at times.. all the dos and dont's lol. 

And all the things you do for me, also keep reassuring me that my choice is correct.

My 2013 new year resolution very simple only.. 

- BE HAPPY and CONTENT.

Being happy is a choice! Everyday also need to live, why not choose to live happy? If you're happy, your loved ones will also be influence by you and be happy. Being happy means you're positive..with positive energy flowing in your body negativity will not be able to form any cancer cells in your body.. You will then be a strong and healthy person, then with strong and healthy body you can work and perform well at work/studies or whatever you dream of doing.. When you perform well (in whatever you do), you get praises and compliments, rewarded in one way or another for your effort (big or small) which will then brings you more motivation and happiness to continue work hard and perform. Being content in whatever you have, not comparing with others is also another form of Happiness. 

At the end of the day, Must be Happy!

Happy - Healthy - Perform - Reward - Motivation - Happy - Healthy - Perform - Reward - Motivation - Happy...

Can't you see? Its a cycle and everything will start from being Happy and end being Happy! 

To maximum the result of this cycle, you need to have contentment. 

STOP COMPARING! 

My 24th Birthday in Winter Wonderland - London

Well pictures speak louder than words ma! This year birthday mark one of the most happy moment of my life.. because I get to eat/drink/play/do whatever I want with a mobile supporter helping to fulfill my needs/wants. Super love him! *MUACKS MUACKS MUACKS*

And this time I broke record spend my birthday in a REAL COLD COUNTRY.. during WINTER! 

Yes...not Genting anymore.. hahaha.. 

The feeling of you're in a foreign country, nobody knows you and you can do whatever you want and nobody's gonna judge you and even if they do SO WHAT? They won't bump into me again easily in such a HUGE country.. 

Yeah it feels really amazing..and ROMANTIC. 

Like you know making romantic love songs MTV.. *Recall one of the Stephanie Sun's MTV taken in London hugging a bag of fresh fruits and sharp head bread..* LOL.

I don't know why but many times here, no matter is in Cambridge or London, I always tell myself not to take what I see on the street for granted, then the Stephanie Sun's MTV will appear in my mind HAHAHA. 

The MTV is 孙燕姿 - 我的爱, go search in YOUTUBE! 

It was one of my favourite song in the past! 

Now it all make sense.. 

Maybe I listen to the song and watch the MTV too many times..

So when now I'm living in this beautiful place, it makes me feel like Dejavu.. 

After staying here for few months, I almost see finish the beautiful old buildings in cambridge liao, and everywhere also is beautiful old buildings..so you kind of "get use to it" lah. But I keep telling myself I shouldn't take it for granted lah because I only will get to see it for 2 years, then go back SG is see HDB liao. lol.

So I should still walk slowly and enjoy the moment, every single time. :D

Lunch in a cool 旋转木马 place with 360degree turn scenery.. damn cool.

Ate london crepes, ordered Nutella Banana Crepes so good I wanted another serving but too expensive! 4.50pounds!

Very happy that day. Though raining, cold, hair messy and tired of all the walking and heavy coat.. this is one of my best birthday. :D
